A journey of a thousand miles.... begins with a deep breath!!

This is the inaugural post of my blog, and what better way to start off other than with a poem i wrote last night at 3 A.M... here goes..

Kaleidoscope of Pain

I look through my inward eye again
To explore deep within me;
Peer through the kaleidoscope of pain
And decipher what i see..

With every nudge that life does give
The colours rearrange;
The emotions and thoughts i feel and live
Take forms new and strange..

Sometimes i feel that pain and pleasure
Are illusions, and no more;
That guard the elusive priceless treasure
Locked behind perception's door..

Pain proves itself a beautiful thing
That reveals a new paradigm;
The notes of sadness frequently ring
Across the melody of time..

Pleasure, although feels good to feel
Is poison to the mind;
Shrouding our eyes from what is real
Till perception goes blind..

Its sadness that lends us its wings
To rise above the mundane;
To us what glimpses of truth brings
Is the kaleidoscope of pain..

Yet withing this constant change somewhere
Myself i try to find;
I essay to seek the truth, and dare
To break the bonds that bind..

My inwards quest for truth shall sustain
Till i can open my eyes;
And not need any kaleidoscope to gain
My first glimpses of Paradise..

cheers to u av!
i really appreciate ur zeal for life n the keenness to understand her to d very bottom...... if there is any.
i really loved ur extent of curiosity towards her.... to know her to d deepest root.
naa yaar..... as i read ur poem again n again it feels as if u have got d deepest root n u r roaming about with this beautiful sapling in ur palms...... n life.... she remains just a spectator..... or may b a loser..... U hv unearthed her av..... u hv spilled open her secrets..... those secrets of any mysterious female..... those secrets which keep most men guessing whole of there life..... yes u hv done it.... u hv won over this sexy girl who always wants to bathe in the joy of keeping us guessing!
congo av!!

hi mrugesh,
u seem to b a critic!
all tht u wrote abt av's fantastic ideas was 'shabdarachana n vichar n all tht stuff.....'.
thn u read my opinion on tht n then u write such a big reaction.... indeed u hv taken some pains for tht... u deserve due credit for this job!
but i think tht evryone can have his own interpretations of these intense thoughts n it is to kno these opinions tht ankur has developed this place. . . . not to opine on othrs opinions!
i suspect whether u ever understood tht by 'sexy girl' i meant life......!
in fact weighing such a creation like some grocery according to d so called rules of poetry is an insult of those wonderful expressions...!

@sankapal
as i was unaware of this rule ("it is to kno these opinions tht ankur has developed this place. . . . not to opine on othrs opinions!)
all i can say is sorry,may have ventured to far.May be cause i am new to this place , even to the 'net'.I am deleting the stuff i wrote.
by the way not every one can express his feeling as well as u do so i did
the best i could.the 'shabdarachana n vichar n all tht stuff.....' may seem nothin to u cause as u say ,"evry one can have his own interpretations of these intense thoughts".
i would have liked to write some more but again the golden rule u mentioned cant let me.
So sorry again & thanks for ur opinion as we say in marathi ,"nindakache ghar asave shejari" i may see the life (or ankurs creations) as a sexy girl some day.but until then it is 'shabdarachana n vichar n all tht stuff.....'.
any way if u have any thing more to say to this "critic" u r most wellcome.
